Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard introduced over 300 features and improvements such as a significantly revised desktop, with a redesigned Dock, Stacks, a semitransparent menu bar, and an updated Finder that incorporates the Cover Flow visual navigation interface first seen in iTunes. This software gets the last update (10.5.8) on Augand later has been replaced by a newer version of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The system has been released on October 26, 2007, and was available for $129 and in the family pack for $199 or was preinstalled on currently sold computers. The Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is an operating system that was designed, developed, and sold by Apple from 2007 to 2009 alongside Apple’s personal computers.
